    Just re-installed FSET (new disk) using your install notes, Nigel - worked a treat - thanks, mate!
    Have set Google to 773, as per above post. Do you know the updated numbers for Bing, etc?
    Many thanks!

    Since the update, thanks Nigel, GE in FSET the UK are absolute "crap" compared to Bing which offer more up to date higher quality, not sure what GE are up to? Cheers Mike

    you will soon be able to download the 3d google images but they are heavy on fps , interestingly I find the images from google which i use for XP are excellent i did use some of bings images in snowdonia and they were grim compared to GE looked like a desert scene

    Hi All

    I've had a query re the Water Masks tutorial on Youtube where the guy is in trouble with FSET tiles from Google Earth. Admin has just said the latest GE version number is 802 (Thanks, Nigel) but when I look in my FSET FSEarthTiles.ini file, I find:

    Code:

    [Service1]
    ServiceName = GE
    ServiceCodeing = qrts
    ServiceUrl =http://khm0.google.com/kh?t=t%s&n=404&v=773
    Referer = http://khm0.google.com
    UserAgent = Mozilla/4.0
    ServerVariations = khm0,khm1,khm2,khm3

    [Service2]
    ServiceName = Bing
    ServiceCodeing   = 0123
    ServiceUrl       = http://a1.ortho.tiles.virtualearth.net/tiles/a%s.jpeg?g=1239
    ServerVariations = a0,a1,a2,a3

    [Service3] #Virtual Earth
    ServiceName = VE
    ServiceCodeing   = 0123
    ServiceUrl = http://a1.ortho.tiles.virtualearth.net/tiles/a%s.jpeg?g=1239 #optional (older versions g=104, g=52)
    Referer = http://a1.ortho.tiles.virtualearth.net
    UserAgent       = Mozilla/4.0
    ServerVariations = a0,a1,a2,a3

    You can see the line "ServiceCodeing = qrts" - is this where the '802' should go? I ask as my FSET works fine with "qrts". Am I missing something?

    Cheers - Dai. Cool
